Lee Batchelor

Hello

I am a graphic and web designer based in south London. I've been designing and making websites for about 15 years and believe that professional website and graphic design should be accessible to everyone.

With a background covering print and online design and development, I've worked with organisations big and small, on projects from full branding and business stationery to websites and on-screen displays and just about everything in between. I'm especially passionate about helping charities and small business using design to engage a wider audience. Whatever you've got in mind, I can help you communicate creatively and effectively with your audience.

I believe that great design can only come from close collaboration. Nobody knows your business like you do, so working together we can combine that knowledge with my expertise and insight to produce work that engages your audience.

Scoping

What are you trying to achieve? Even if you're not quite sure what you need, we can work together to put together a detailed brief of your requirements as the basis for the project.

Research

Getting to know your and your business is an important step towards a successful project. Combined with the latest trends and innovations, that detailed knowledge of your business, competitors and audience informs the design decisions made in the rest of process.

Conception

This stage of the process explores different ways of fulfilling the brief based on the insights from the research. Depending on the project it could involve various potential logo designs, a number of leaflet layouts or potential website structures. We’ll discuss all of the possibilities before selecting a chosen route to develop further.

Development

It’s time to take the chosen approach from concept to the finished article. Fleshing out the ideas, creating the content and making sure all the t’s are crossed and the i’s dotted. Your feedback throughout the process ensures that the projects stays on track and that the end result is something we can all be proud of.

Completion

Although having your freshly-printed document in your hands or new website online is something to celebrate, it’s also a good time to take stock and evaluate how things have turned out and how the success of the project could be built upon. With a website, you’re not just abandoned and left to it - ongoing hosting and support is available to help you keep your site update to date and relevant.
